Flight to Prague delayed

Reached Milano (Milan) in good time. However, my connecting flight is delayed. Fortunately, my 24h wi-fi pass works in Milano as well as Roma (Leonardo da Vinci di Fiumicino). I can recommend linkem.

Leaving Rome

I'm sad to leave Rome, as I was sad to leave Denmark. It was really great to visit Kim and Sara, seeing how they live. I saw their new apartment which has great potential. I have seen a lot of exciting places in Rome and I like to get back and see more. But mostly I just want to spend time with my friends.

It cheers me up that I'm headed for Prague now. Prague is nice and I always enjoy going there. It has something to do with the great beer and my colleagues in Prague that always make it a pleasant stay.

Eventually, I'll get back to Mountain View. It will be great to not live out of a suitcase anymore. Also, the cars are better there ;-)

Cesena and Bologna

From Monday to Wednesday, I have visited a researcher in Cesena and I'm really impressed with what his team has accomplished. Italy is really great (except that it is cold right now) and the food is marvelous. Wednesday we went to the hometown of late Marco Pantani, Cesenatico to eat fish and see the Adriatic Sea.

Yesterday, I toured Bologna. Unfortunately, it was kind of boring. Today I'll go to Rome and stop in Firenze (Florence) on the way.

No Phone in Italy?

I just tried setting up "udlandstelefoni" on my TELMORE account. After a credit check they should activate it. However, it may require that the phone is in Denmark, so I may not be able to use my cell in Italy. Good we have Skype.

Missing Kim's Farewell Party

The dreaded cold means that I'll miss out on Kim's party. Really sad. Hopefully this picture from when Henrik, Piotr, Jakob, and I went out on town will cheer me up.

Trip to Copenhagen

Last weekend I went on a trip to Copenhagen. Unfortunately, I caught a cold and had to cut the trip one day short and didn't visit my cousin Eva :-(

I did manage to visit a lot of other friends and family. When I visited Thor and Helle in their new very nice home we saw Frederiksborg Castle. Their house is just a wee bit smaller. The picture is me at the back of the castle.
